Mr. Talha Tufail Bhatti is an Environmental Scholar, heading the ‘Strengthening Regional Climate Resilience’ program at IRS. His core interests are Climate change and Environmental degradation. Conducted groundbreaking research at the Catalysis for Energy and Environment Laboratory (CEEL) within the Department of Environmental Science at Quaid-i-Azam University and published two research articles into international journals of “Fuel” and “Environmental Management” for applications of Nanotech and smart agriculture practices. He also holds analytical skills for climate models, including CMIP6 and CORDEX, and produced reports on precipitation and temperature trends for national and international donor agencies.

Mr Talha published short articles on multiple topics of Food & Gender security, Climate and security nexus, Climate finance for loss and damage, and climate diplomacy in Regional Studies journal and other media outlets. Previously he taught undergraduate programs in multiple universities like Quaid-I-Azam University and Bahira University which produced more than 150 undergraduate climate informed advocates in the past 3 years.
